PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Michael J. Hahn has over 37 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field. He is a commissioning agent, a licensed energy auditor, has served as a technology awards judge for ASHRAE on the national level, and has served as a graduate research/teaching assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Project experience includes mechanical engineering and design of HVAC, controls, plumbing, and fire protection systems in new or renovated building projects for public or private entities. He has extensive practice in chilled water, ice storage, VAV, laboratory ventilation, heat pumps, and split systems for education facilities, office buildings, recreational facilities, small and large commercial facilities, residential, medical, and military facilities. He is also involved in the construction administration, cost estimating, bidding, and negotiation of these projects.
